Burl wood, lacquer gloss, and one perfect inlaid rose — this rose burl musical jewelry box is a Sorrento classic. The natural burl formations are polished to a lacquer sheen, and the lid's rose — leaves and buds included — is inlaid by hand using the ancient technique of marquetry. The jewelry compartment is lined in velvet; 2.75×4.75×4.5 inches. Choose from Sankyo 18-note movements or upgrade to Reuge 18-note, with the tune of your choice. Made in Sorrento, Italy and imported by 1001Shops. A gift for all occasions — and the rare one that gets more beautiful every year.
